Wild Rose Farm
Appears in these categories: CSA
People can choose to support a farm by buying a ‘share’ at the beginning of the season. What you are actually doing is paying in advance for a weekly share of the harvest – each week you receive a bag of fresh produce, directly from the farm. Since crops vary seasonally, CSAs are also a way for people to connect with their local growing conditions (know what's in season) and with the people who grow their food (understand and appreciate how your food is grown). CSAs help farmers in crop planning (so they don’t overplant and waste food) and in providing some seed money at the beginning of the season (literally, to buy and sow their seeds).
